The broad circumferential grooves and thin lateral grooves on the inside are designed to enhance the water removal. The thin sipes improve handling when cornering and lateral traction on snow. The cylindrical sipes on the outside enhance the tyre's crawling ability and traction on snowy and icy surfaces. The links between the outside blocks increase their rigidity, thus improving the tyre's steering properties.
